
Melanie King is a Shareholder and a Director of Altman Real Estate. She is also a Real Estate Agent and provides an interior design service for clients in Barbados and, most recently, St. Lucia. Melanie has over thirty years of experience in the Real Estate Industry, with experience in concierge, property management, property consulting, sales and interior design. She also served as President of the Barbados Estate Agents and Valuers Association (BEAVA) for two terms.
Melanie was one of the first women in Barbados to be involved in real estate sales. During her career in the industry, she has been closely involved with developments such as the Sandy Lane Estate, the Port St. Charles Marina, Sugar Hill Resort and more recently, the Apes Hill Club and the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre.
Born in Barbados and educated in the United Kingdom. Melanie is an avid animal lover and enjoys travelling. She shares her St. James home with her husband, her two Golden Retrievers and when he takes a break from his studies in London, her son.

Michelle joined the Altman Real Estate team in 1999 as a Marketing Manager and eventually became a Real Estate Agent in 2004. She was recently promoted to the position of Manager of the Limegrove branch and continues to be an active member of the sales team.
Michelle has more than twenty years of experience in the local Real Estate industry. Her career began at Royal Westmoreland, where she worked in Sales Administration and Real Estate sales. She is also a member of the Barbados Estate Agents and Valuers Association (BEAVA).
A fitness enthusiast, Michelle enjoys staying in shape, believing that a clear mind and a healthy body are important for all aspects of life. Her other interests include photography, travelling and cooking.

Pooka is the President of the Barbados chapter of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), a charitable organization to which she has dedicated many years of service. Pooka also has a special love for music and dance and is equally passionate about gardening. She believes we should all leave a smaller carbon footprint on the world, but a lasting contribution to its well-being.

Johanne has been part of the Altman team for five years during which her creativity and keen eye for detail have been an asset. Her roles included OTA Manager, in-house photographer, Marketing Associate and currently Sales Agent. Johanne's background is multi-disciplinary, having studied at The Univeristy of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland.
When Johanne is not searching for the perfect property for a client, she enjoys spending time with her family. As a mum, she prioritizes her health and fitness, while other hobbies inlude photography, being an active member of the Barbados Photographic Society, mountain biking, painting, gardening and horticulture. Johanne never shies away from a challenge and believes adventure sparks creativity.

With over 15 years in real estate and a rich background in tourism, Tania Butler brings a wealth of experience to Altman Real Estate, where she has been a valued team member for over 8 years. Her journey began with studying hotel management and marketing in Hamburg, Germany, before returning to Barbados. Tania is passionate about connecting with people from all walks of life and finding their perfect home, leveraging her extensive property management experience to offer exceptional service. Fluent in German, she enjoys bridging cultures and making her clients feel at ease. Outside of work, Tania cherishes time spent with her two wonderful boys, family, and friends. She stays active through running, playing tennis, and traveling, always seeking new adventures and experiences.
