Apes Hill Reborn
Apes Hill has kept the name but has changed the ethos of what this development represents. Part of the new look is the logo which is inspired by many aspects of Apes Hill Club. The icon, known as the ‘Apex’, represents Apes Hill Club being at the pinnacle of Barbados experiences. It symbolises both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea within the shape of a hill and the letter ‘A’.
So what will the ‘new’ Apes Hill look like?
For several months now, works have been in full swing to renovate the golf course. The routing of the golf course has been retained while the overall experience has been enhanced by building on our assets - beautiful gullies, gorgeous coral stone rock formations and stunning sea and ocean views. Five holes have had significant remodelling, with 12 holes now offering sea views. For those of you who have played this course before, you will welcome the changes to improve your golfing experience when playing the fully renovated 18-Hole Championship Par 72 Golf Course.
But that’s not all. Based on the vision of creating the best-golfing experience in the Caribbean, through environmentally responsible planning and development, the club also includes a remodelled clubhouse; the fun lake-island 19th hole; new 9-hole par three courses; driving range and short-game practise area. It will also have a Golf Performance and Teaching Centre; new halfway house; new fitness centre with lap pool, gym, tennis and padel tennis courts; hiking trails; callisthenics outdoor gym; fishing reservoir; and an exciting new farm shop. The farm shop will be stocked from the pocket farming around the golf course; they have just planted a grove of pineapple next to the fairway!
